Good start for the Catalan University National Team in Leeds, England.

Last Friday, March 27th was a historic day for the Catalan Rugby League. The Catalan University National Team played versus one of the best University teams in England, the country with the highest level in Europe.
Catalonia played versus Leeds Trinity & All Saints team of the Leeds University and lost by 34-10, but it showed determination and eagerness to improve its game level. The Catalan players were close to make 2 more tries. The English team, who had fantastic players, won thanks to their higher experience, both offensively and defensively.

The Catalan Association of Rugby League congratulates all players for their good match and looks forward to repeating the experience, thus helping to develop Catalan university RL in order to be correctly prepared for 2010 European University Championship.
