Insignia for Llibert López, vice-president of ACRL

The vice-president of the Catalan Rugby League Association and the Catalan Dragons, Mr. Llibert López, had got last Thursday the golden insignia of the Plataforma Proseleccions Esportives Catalanes. This organization gives every year the President Companys prize to the person or organization that more makes for the recognition of the Catalan National Teams (this year the prize was for Mr. Xavier-Albert Canal, President of the Catalan Rugby XV) and, in the same act, impose to its golden insignia to representative people in this struggle.

This 2008, Mr. Llibert López got the golden insignia together with other personalities of the catalan sport, like the ex captain of the skate hockey Selection Ivan Tibau, the athlete Kilian Jornet and some presidents of recognize Catalan federations officially recognized by the respective international federations. The Plataforma valued “the intense activity of Mr. Llibert López in the diffusion of the Rugby League in Catalonia".

The delegation of the Catalan Rugby League Association in the act was head by Mr. Sergi Blàzquez, President of the ACRL, together with Mr. Llibert López (Vice-president), Mr. Enric Balaguer (General Secretary), Mr. Eric Delherbe (Catalan manager) and Mr. Albert Homs (Captain of the Selection).

From the ACRL we want to be grateful for the presence of Mr. Cristophe Jauffret, member of the RLEF (Rugby League European Federation) and we want to congratulate to the Plataforma Proseleccions Esportives Catalanes for its works and the excellent ceremony of the last Thursday.
